1. App Usage & Platform Responsibility

Music Trails provides a platform for musicians and music enthusiasts to connect and collaborate. However, you understand and agree that Music Trails is not responsible for the actions of its users. You use the app at your own discretion and risk.

Our platform facilitates connections between musicians but does not control, endorse, or guarantee any interactions, transactions, or relationships that may develop between users.

2. Meetup Responsibility & Personal Safety

Any decision to meet in person with other users of the app is entirely your own. Music Trails does not endorse or guarantee the conduct, reliability, or intentions of other users. You are solely responsible for your personal safety during meetups and interactions arranged through the app.

Safety Recommendations:

• Always meet in public places for initial meetings
• Inform trusted friends or family about your plans
• Trust your instincts and leave if you feel uncomfortable
• Verify the identity of other users through the app's verification features
• Use the app's messaging system before meeting in person

3. Property and Valuables

Music Trails is not responsible for any loss or theft of personal property or valuables that may occur during transactions, meetups, or interactions facilitated by the app. It is your responsibility to take appropriate precautions to protect your belongings, including musical instruments, equipment, and personal items.

4. User Ratings and Comments ("Trails" Feature)

The "Trails" feature of Music Trails provides user-generated ratings and comments to help you assess the reliability and trustworthiness of other users. You should make use of these features to evaluate other users' credibility. Music Trails does not control or validate the accuracy of user ratings and comments.

Trails System Guidelines:

• Ratings should be honest and based on actual interactions
• Comments should be constructive and professional
• False or malicious ratings may result in account suspension
• Music Trails reserves the right to remove inappropriate content

5. User Credentials & Trustworthiness

The "Trails" profiles available to Music Trails users are intended to represent the trustworthiness and credibility of individual musicians. Music Trails is designed to help you connect with genuine musicians. You should use the app responsibly and respect the trustworthiness of others.

You agree to provide accurate information in your profile and to maintain the integrity of the platform by reporting suspicious or inappropriate behavior.

6. Subscription Terms & Billing

6.1 Free Trial

Music Trails offers a 3-day free trial for new users. During this period, you have full access to premium features. Your subscription will automatically begin after the trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends.

6.2 Subscription Plans

• Monthly Plan: $4.99 per month, billed monthly
• Annual Plan: $49.99 per year, billed annually (equivalent to $4.17/month)

6.3 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You will be charged the subscription fee 24 hours before the end of the current period.

6.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

6.5 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Music Trails does not store your payment information. All transactions are subject to Stripe's terms of service.

6.6 Price Changes

Music Trails reserves the right to modify subscription prices with 30 days advance notice. Existing subscribers will be notified via email and in-app notifications.

7. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use Music Trails in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Prohibited activities include:

• Harassment, bullying, or threatening other users
• Posting false, misleading, or inappropriate content
• Impersonating other individuals or entities
• Attempting to hack, disrupt, or compromise the platform
• Using the platform for commercial purposes without authorization
• Sharing copyrighted content without permission
• Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions

8. Privacy & Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using Music Trails, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

Music Trails and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Music Trails and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you post, but grant Music Trails a license to use it as necessary to provide our services.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Music Trails is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Music Trails shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

11. Account Termination

Music Trails reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your access to premium features will cease, but you may retain access to basic features during any remaining subscription period.

12. Changes to Terms

Music Trails may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email and in-app notifications. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
